In Madrid´s most diversely mixed melting pot, the Barrio of Lavapiés offers from the 20th to the 30th of October tapas from around the world. Mixing the name of the neighborhood with the name of the food item offered, tapas, the event is cleverly called Tapapiés. Over 11 countries including Spain, Argelia, Ecuador, India, Chile, the Carribean, Brazil, Thailand, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Japan are represented culturally and gastronomically.
