In the heart of one of Madrid´s most animated neighborhoods, La Latina, exists a very enchanting cafe...Within this eclectic yet classical cafe, you will find a vertical garden, a maze, and art nouveau-like pieces all wrapped up and splashed onto a minimalistic architectonic backdrop...No wonder it is called LA MUSA (THE MUSE) ;). 

In the mood for a café con leche or a copa de vino tinto?  At La Musa, the ambiance maintains an informal setting as it plays host to groups of friends, couples and faithful Sunday La Latina locals.  Long iron lamps hang from the ceiling to produce a dim light, making the setting even more intimate than it already is.  The focal point of the interior is the vertical garden that lies to the left of the entrance.  The interior decor is so unique that I myself felt like a modern Alice in Wonderland while sipping a cup of coffee one Sunday afternoon.

This is precisely what you will find at THE BURGER LAB... Madrid´s very own burger joint that takes flavor to another level. How would you like your meat?Exotic or traditional? Adventurous or original? At The Burger Lab, don´t hesitate you have 11 different types of meat or not meat to choose from: ostrich, kangaroo, beef, chicken tandoori, salmon, tofu, pork, and the rest I´ll leave for you to come taste and indulge in.

The Burger Lab supports a very humble minimalist design which stands in contrast to the very non-minimal flavors and taste experience found within the burgers.  Along with the "out of this world!" burger you decide to order comes a side order of different types of potatoes. If you are not into traditional fries you can also order cubed potatoes, chips, or the famous patatas bravas (potatoes with a creamy tomato sauce) or asadas con ali oli (baked with Spain´s famous creamy garlic sauce).

  

Burgers are small, so if you still are left feeling hungry your indecisiveness from the beginning will soon be cured and you can have both the kangaroo and the ostrich.

Mercado de San Antón is a new project that was just recently finished.  It is an incredible, glowing, and inspiring gastronomic meca.  Every story has something new and delicious to offer.  From fresh fish to fresh meat to pastries, food from around the world, and basically anything you are craving.  Mercado de San Antón allows you to be adventurous, who knows maybe you will end up satisfyingly passing the whole day away in this temple of glorious gastronomic enterprise.

This and more is not the only thing you will find at Mercado de San Antón.  Yes, it is a market, BUT climb a few more stairs, escalators and step onto the terrace where you can relax and enjoy a drink with dreamy views of Madrid.  On the same story as the terrace roof top, you can treat yourself to either lunch or dinner, where two restaurants are conveniently situated.

Welcome to Le Garage...

Within this chic, eclectic almost bizarre yet elegant environment, you will find everything from the most exotic cocktails to the most interesting art exposition.  Le Garage is the perfect name for what diverse range of delicacies one will come across upon entrance.  From start to finish, it is to say, from the beginning of the restaurant to the end, the ambiance changes.  At one moment you are having an exclusive cocktail with enormous antique chandeliers in an intimate yet vibrant bar environment. The next moment you may be having sushi in a more conservative atmosphere.  

 Not only are your taste buds put to the test with Le Garage´s Japanese-Mediterranean fusion cuisine, but also your auditory senses, where every now and then Le Garage takes on the role of an art gallerist, supporting local or international artists.  Different pieces of art adorn the restaurant from the bar area reaching all the way to the crystal room (the most formal area of the restaurant to dine.)

Do you like to watch what you just ordered being prepared right in front of you? This restaurant also has an open kitchen which means the cook is performing the whole night long as customers pass by curiously watching what they may have to order for dinner.
